WebVisions 2006
My first workshop and only the second time I’ve ever spoke in public. Due to some craziness at work, I wasn’t able to even start on my slides until the night before. So I dumped as much information as I could think of into a basic slide design.
At the time I thought 103 slides was a lot for a 4 hour workshop, but now I usually do well over 100 slides for just a 45-minute talk.
The reception to the talk was pretty great. I published the slides almost immediately after the event and I still get comments on this first big presentation of my career.
